Whenever I snack, I try to make choices that are good for me. Occasionally I'll grab a small handful of goji berries, which I keep in my freezer. They are slightly sweet and chewy, and similar to raisins.
Goji berries have been used in China for many years to treat eye, kidney, and liver ailments. They have also been credited with improving circulation, sexual function, health of the skin and hair and it boosts your immune function. It is also said to promote weight loss.
I add this delicious super food to my breakfast each morning and they add an added texture to my non-grain meal, which I enjoy immensely. I highly encourage you to try these wonderful berries.
