Hippocrates, Why Did We Forget?

"Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food"

Hippocrates

Where did it all go wrong? Even Hippocrates knew that what makes up our body is what we put into it. Somehow we've lost that information over time. We have let the food industry take over the feeding of our nation and we've slowly begun to leave our kitchens for the sake of convenience and assign the cooking to others, namely the creators of processed foods that for the most part extract the nutrients necessary for life and replace them with cheap commodities like fat, salt and sugar.

The health of our nation is at risk and this risk is spreading worldwide, as quickly as fast food restaurants pop up. Until people wake up to the fact that there is great money to be made by making and keeping the population sick, the sooner we will take control of our bodies, in the best way possible, and feed it was it was intended to eat, good organic fruits and vegetables and grass fed meats free of antibiotics and hormones. Only then can we recapture our health and begin to lead a more rewarding and healthy life in all aspects.
